Overview

The Care One patient monitoring system is a system developed for care facilities by Nissha’s Device Business that can monitor several people at once.
By combining three types of wireless sensors and a cloud service, the system displays alerts if anything abnormal happens in the room via computer monitor display and e-mails to care workers’ smartphones or cellphones. The alert history is recorded and saved automatically, helping to streamline care workplace efficiency and share data in a timely manner (*1). These functions help alleviate care worker burdens.

Product Description

1. Notifies problems using sensors

Sensors are used to detect and notify any problems that could occur in care facilities. This helps detect problems quickly and prevent accidents.

Abnormalities detected
Examples: Doors opening and shutting due to patients going wandering, movement of patients such as sitting up in bed, issues with room temperature, etc.

Notification method
・Dedicated monitor: Notifies issues through displays and sound.
・Care workers’ smartphones/cellphones: Sends e-mails with the same content.

2. Operation visualization
Sensor information and alert histories are automatically recorded in the cloud, and can be viewed on a special website. By making information visible in this way, trends can be spotted and post-event analysis conducted.

By linking with Honobono Next (*1) it is possible to automatically read alert notice records. This helps alleviate the burdens on care workers as well as increasing record-keeping precision and lessening energy requirements.

Door Sensor

This notifies when the room door is opened at night. Installing this in the room or entrance allows early notification of patients who are wandering around or have left their room.

Occupancy Sensor

This detects human movement in the room at night, such as getting up or going to the toilet. It can detect when people at high risk of falling leave their beds, or when people pass down the corridor.

Temperature and Humidity Sensor

This can detect when the air-conditioner is left off in summer or not operated properly, when the ventilation fan is left on in winter or the window left open, and temperature and humidity abnormality will be reported to the real time. By detecting, it prevents a cold outbreak and dehydration symptoms.
