As the part、Nissha is a sponsor of Kyoto National Museum 120th Anniversary Commemorative Special Exhibition "Kaiho Yusho" in Kyoto National Museum from April 11 to May 21, 2017.
Special Exhibition "Kaiho Yusho" overview
Kaiho Yusho (1533-1615) is a master of the Momoyama painting and is admired together with Kano Eitoku and Hasegawa Tōhaku
Yusho made his talent blossomed at the famous temple in Kyoto and drew for the Emperor and the Miyake.
In this exhibition, more than 70 works including masterpieces, few early works, newly discovered and first released works, letters and documents will be exhibited. As Kyoto National Museum 120th Anniversary Commemorative Special Exhibition, the museum holds the largest scale retrospective exhibition of this proud and isolated artist Kaiho Yusho, introducing the whole unknown lifestyle and painting.
