—Linking Care One Patient Monitoring System with Integrated Record Keeping System

September 25, 2017

Nissha Printing Co.,Ltd.

Nissha Printing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Nissha”) has decided to embark on joint development of a new system capable of linking Care One, its patient monitoring system employing proprietary sensing technology, with the Honobono Next Integrated Record Keeping System offered by NDSoftware Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nanyo-shi, Yamagata; President Hiroshi Sato; hereinafter “NDSoftware”).
Through the new system, Nissha aims to support the work of long-term care facilities and contribute to the safety and comfort of the residents.
NDSoftware plans to release an optional Integrated Record Keeping and Monitoring System in February 2018.

Nissha’s patient monitoring system Care One is designed to generate notification in the event of an anomaly in resident rooms. The new system will be equipped with a function to automatically send the contents of this notification to NDSoftware’s Integrated Record Keeping System.
Conventional monitoring systems used in long-term care facilities for the elderly and for persons with disabilities generate notifications several times a day, requiring the information to be logged or input manually.
By linking Care One with the Integrated Record Keeping System, the contents of notification will be recorded and saved automatically, helping to streamline the work of caregivers and enabling the sharing of data in a timely manner.

Demonstrations will be conducted at  the 44th International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition (H.C.R.2017) to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from September 27 to 29, 2017. H.C.R. is the largest international exhibition in Asia dedicated to assistive devices.
The new system will be on display in both the NDSoftware booth and the Nissha booth.
