An invention related to decorative film, cover panels, and display devices by Nissha Co., Ltd. has been awarded the Grand Prize at the 69th Kyoto Prefecture Invention and Innovation Awards. This invention involves the design of decorative film that allows for clear display without being affected by the patterns on the surface of the cover panel, while using conventional printing methods. As a result, displays with high aesthetic value have been realized and adopted in various products such as mobility interiors and home appliances.

This award, hosted by Kyoto Prefecture, aims to widely promote the importance of inventions, designs, and creative efforts, as well as to enhance the development of science and technology and the motivation for inventive and creative activities. It has been held annually since 1957.
