Nissha Co., Ltd. (hereafter, “Nissha”) will start reservation order of medical face shields on April 15, 2020.

Medical face shields are products used by medical staff to protect their face from the various splashes or sprays they encounter in medical work. With the global spread of COVID-19, the demand for these shields in medical practice has skyrocketed in all countries, and there is a serious shortage.
Nissha’s Medical Technologies Business Unit manufactures and sells surgical devices and medical consumables on a global basis under our Nissha Medical Technologies brand. Medical face shields are not a product we have handled in the past, but in order to help alleviate the global shortage of such shields, we have decided to manufacture and sell them through our global network.
Initially, we shall manufacture medical face shields through the Nissha Group’s global supply chain, and sell them in Japan under the product name “MeSHIELD^TM” through MITAS Inc., our sales agent. In Europe and the United States, we intend to sell them under the product name "LATITUDE^TM" through Nissha Medical Technologies’ sales channels.
