Information Disclosures Based on TCFD Recommendations

Nissha Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Nissha”) announced its support for the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)*1 recommendations in January 2022 and have been analyzing the financial impact of risks and opportunities arising from climate change. We have disclosed climate change-related information based on the TCFD recommendations in our Sustainability Report issued this time and the website.

At the same time, the status of compliance with the Corporate Governance Code *2 in the Corporate Governance Report (Japanese only) has also been updated, and disclosure based on TCFD recommendations has been added.

The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) was established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB), an international organization in which central banks and financial regulators of major countries participate. It encourages companies to disclose climate change-related risks and opportunities and their financial impact, which are important factors in investment decisions.
*2. In the latter part of Corporate Governance Code Supplementary Principles 3.1.3; enhance the quality and quantity of disclosure based on the TCFD recommendations or an equivalent framework.
