Nissha Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Nissha”) has received the highest “A” rating in the climate change survey conducted by CDP, a global non-profit organization, improving from last year's “A-” rating. Nissha has also been selected for the first time as a CDP “A list” company. We believe this recognition reflects the evaluation of our efforts to address climate change and enhance information disclosure.

CDP operates a global environmental disclosure system for companies and local governments and conducts environmental surveys of more than 22,100 companies worldwide at the request of institutional investors and corporations with a strong interest in environmental issues. The surveys evaluate the comprehensiveness of information disclosure and the effectiveness of strategies and responses to environmental risks, and the evaluation scores are widely used in investment and procurement decisions aimed at building a sustainable economy.

The Nissha Group aims to reduce 30% of total CO2 emissions in view of carbon-neutral by 2050 (compared to 2020). As a result of these efforts, we achieved this CO₂ emissions reduction target six years ahead of schedule in the FY2024 performance.
We shall set a new target while continuing to advance domestic energy-saving measures and renewable energy initiatives at overseas production sites. We will continue to promote our responses as we verify costs and effects.
