— 60% Reduction by 2035 (Compared to 2020) —

February 12, 2026

Nissha Co., Ltd.

Nissha Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Nissha”) has established a new target of achieving a 60% reduction in total CO₂ emissions from Scope 1 and Scope 2 by 2035 (compared to 2020), with a view to realizing carbon neutrality by 2050. This target is aligned with the level required under the Paris Agreement*.

Nissha positions its response to climate change as one of its key issues (materialities) in realizing its Sustainability Vision (long-term vision), and has continuously promoted initiatives to reduce CO₂ emissions, including the introduction of renewable energy, the implementation of energy-saving measures, and the replacement of production equipment with more energy-efficient alternatives.
As a result of these efforts, Nissha achieved a 30% reduction in total CO₂ emissions by 2030 (compared to 2020) ahead of schedule, based on its performance in fiscal year 2024.
In light of these achievements and future business outlook, Nissha has set a new reduction target toward 2035. Going forward, Nissha will steadily advance the introduction of renewable energy and energy-saving initiatives at its production bases in Japan and overseas, and will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through effective measures while verifying costs and effectiveness.

* The Paris Agreement is an international framework for addressing climate change, adopted at the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2015. It aims to limit the rise in global temperatures and calls on countries and companies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
